Lilydale Football Club

Lilydale Senior Football Club plays in Division One of the Eastern Football League in Victoria

The Lilydale Football Club was established in 1872 making it one of the oldest AFL clubs still actively playing our great Australian game.

We currently field 3 sides in the Eastern Football League at Senior level and 10 at Junior Level in the Under 8s through to Under 17s. There is no Under 16 competition.

Our clubrooms and ground are located at the Lilydale Recreation Reserve, Main St in the township of Lilydale, gateway to the picturesque Yarra Valley in Victoria, which is famous for its great cool climate wines, bed and breakfast facilities, restaurants, national parks and the Healesville wildlife Sanctuary. The Junior clubrooms and ground are located at the entrance to the Gateway Estate in Nelson Road Lilydale.

Our Senior coach is Simon Rourke who has had extensive experience including with the Eastern Ranges and is a premiership coach of our neighbour, the Silvan Cats .

Training is on Monday (recovery and weights), Tuesday and Thursday in season, with selection night on Thursday when meals and refreshments are available in the social rooms and all are welcome.

Home and away matches commence at 9.40am for the Under 19s, 11.55am for the Reserves and 2.10pm for the Seniors. Admission for Adults is $7, Pensioners $3 and Children Under 17 years of age are admitted free. Seasons tickets are available which entitles you to membership of the club and a vote at the Annual General Meeting which is usually held in late September or early October each year. Everyone is welcome.
